My Thai Toy - Part 4

Toy was there, just as she had told me she would be, and she asked me why I was so late. I told her that I had been busy at the new apartment, and she asked me whether I had had the beer at the apartment or at another bar. My beers while talking to the Mama-san were on my breath. I guessed that if I lied to Toy about where I had been when I consumed the beers, she would get to the apartment and see that there were no empties, and know the truth, so I told her that I had been to a few other bars. She was satisfied with that, and we caught a cab to the apartment.

Toy did a tour of the apartment and asked how many families it was meant to house. When I told her that it was for one person, she thought that I was joking. “So many rooms, and for one person only? A waste of rooms”. She agreed to move in, and a few days later, brought her number 1 daughter there to stay. This daughter was called Jeab.

When I first met Jeab, I could see no resemblance between her and Toy. I still can’t. Toy was about 160 cm tall, and had a willowy figure. Jeab, 14 years of age, was about 170 cm tall, and was carrying enough weight to compete with a matronly Indian woman. She also had the looks of someone with Indian ancestry.

Anyhow, things were OK, but a few weeks later, Toy announced that she wanted to get her number 2 daughter back from the daughter's father. Toy had already spoken to him, and he had told her that the daughter in question could not go back to live with Toy, he was keeping her.

Toy told me that she really wanted to get her daughter back, and it would cost 10,000 Baht. There was the private detective to make sure that the father didn't get violent when Toy picked daughter up from school (last day of school), there was the driver to pay, and there might be some other unforseen expenses.

What the hell, I gave her the 10,000 Baht and tried not to worry about it. On the afternoon of the last day of school, Toy, number 2 daughter, private detective and driver turned up in my apartment and announced that there had been another 5,000 Baht of unforseen expenses. I told them that I only had 2,000 Baht, so the men settled for that and departed. Toy had her number 2 daughter, called Joy, with her.
After a bumpy relationship lasting 6 months, I took Toy to Australia in June 1996 and we married on Friday 28th June. I simply could not see past her incredibly tight pussy.

And this is the point at which I start the day-by-day diary that I kept.

After the marriage, Toy told me that she had two debts, which totalled 327,000 Baht in August 1996. One is for 20,000 Baht at 5% (simple interest) per month and is 5 years old; she has paid 11,000 Baht on this loan which means that in August 1996, it stood at 69,000 Baht. The other debt is for 150,000 Baht at 2% (simple interest) per month and is 3 years old; she has not paid any interest on this, so it was 258,000 Baht in August 1996.

I understand that Toy put up some of her family's farming land as security for these debts and is now greatly worried that she may lose this land to the moneylenders. She appears to be desperately looking for a way to repay her debts, and, upon advice from a relative, has gone to Isaan (north-eastern Thailand) to do work carting apples in the hope of making sufficient money to repay what she owes. I must wonder whether this will provide returns as great as she anticipates.

Friday 28 June 1996: Toy and I got married in Australia. During the two weeks that we were there, Toy spent nearly $3,000 (60,000 Baht) of my money, and I am still paying off the various debts left in Australia, including mobile phone call costs and credit cards. Purchases included an opal, handbags, a mobile phone, and several varieties of perfumes. All purchases, except one handbag and one bottle of perfume, have disappeared. It seems that everything has gone to Toy's various friends. I discovered much later that she was selling these goods for less than I paid for them.

Monday 8 July: We returned to Thailand from Australia. Toy was pregnant but was not happy with the idea of pregnancy, or the consequences, presumably because of her debt and her perceived need to be able to work to pay the debt off - if she is pregnant or has an infant child, she is unable to work. During the week that followed, I told Toy that I very much wanted her to have the child, and that if she did have the child, I would ensure that it would be well taken care of and would never want for anything.

Weekend 13/14 July: Toy took 3 doses of "medicine" in order to dispose of the pregnancy, to "make men come". “Men” is short for menstruation.

Toy is a Buddhist, and there is a Buddhist temple in Canberra, but when I suggested that we could visit it while we were there, she would not do so. I now believe that this was because she knew that she was pregnant, had already decided to dispose of the pregnancy, and did not want to go to the temple while she was pregnant with a baby that she intended to dispose of. Some months before we married, we had discussed the possibility of a child, and she said that we could have a child after we married, but she would not bear one before we married. When we returned to Thailand, we talked about her pregnancy, and I made sure that she knew that it was something that I wanted and would support completely. She changed her mind about having a baby, and said that she would not have a child in Thailand, only after we moved to Australia would she consider having a baby.

Monday 15 July: Toy's pregnancy was terminated as a result of the "medicine".

Friday 19th July: Toy and I had another disagreement continuing from Wednesday. The primary problem is that she is no longer a bar girl, so she should no longer go to visit her former co-workers at their place of employment. They are welcome to visit the apartment, but the bar is no longer a place for Toy to go. A few days ago, we went to Mike's Place, and when I went to the hong naam [toilet], I came back to see her sitting with a very big (not fat) black guy, and he had bought her a drink. He gave me a handshake with a very firm grip, and told me that she was a good lady, and a good fuck, so I should take good care of her. Good! I really needed to be told all of that. A difference of somewhat lesser importance was the matter of Toy going away (to Isaan to supposedly work) when I did not want her to do so.

Saturday 20 July: Toy departed for Isaan. During her absence, she was difficult to contact. She left her daughters, Jeab and Joy, in my care. While I very much like the girls, if they have any problems of a personal nature, because I do not speak much Thai, and because they are girls and I am a man, the only help that I can give them is to get medical assistance if needed.

Thursday 25 July: Toy took 10,000 Baht from our joint bank account with her ATM card.

Saturday 27 July: As a result of Toy's absence, I went to the Bang Saray holiday cottages alone - Jeab and Joy did not wish to accompany me without Toy. While I was there I met a girl called Lek and we became good friends. If Toy - or even just one of the girls - had been with me, Lek and I would probably never have met, and certainly would not have formed this friendship.

(To be continued.)

I am getting into this story now, it's like watching the proverbial train wreck in slow motion, the only good thing is that because this is all set eleven years ago, we already know that Santa survives the impending relationship wreck to 'live long and prosper' and relate the story to us today.

Man, this already has the look of "cluster****" written all over it. You have been through all; I can tell this already.

Oh yes, this doesn't look good. But then again, we probably empathise so much with this story because we have also been through something similar. I'm waiting to get to the parting of the ways....I bet Toy will use the kids as a bargaining chip to keep the ATM...sorry, relationship going. These Thai girls hate to lose a generous man.

I really like your simile, materialsman, may I use it elsewhere as the situation dictates? :-)

patongprowler and Marc Holt, you will see what happens in the final part, part 9. One part being made available every three days gives you another two weeks to wait.

This entire event took two years out of my life, but the second year gets somewhat compressed as I tell it.

You might like my psychological revenge, I just couldn't resist it, I had to do it - same as Bart hitting the foreman with a shovel in "Blazing Saddles".

Thanks to all of you for your comments.

And to think that I went through all of this s*** with a farang girl here in the U.S. 12 years ago. Still paying for that one, literally.

There's an old saying about hiring a nanny, maid, and a hooker to perform all the tasks that farang women won't. In the long run it's a lot cheaper, and the service is better in all aspects, plus you get time to yourself.

Ah well, we live and learn...

problem is, the echoes from being f..ked over by a Thai girl we fell for keep on coming back and ruining things even when they are good...
