I started writing about my experiences living in a rural Buddhist temple as a layman and a monk. I didn't intend on writing a book, but my experiences were so powerful, emotional and real I felt compelled to share it. Son's of Issan from Raider publishing. Look for it's release everywhere in January 2009. Bill Reyland currently lives and works in Bangkok, Thailand. Excerpts from Son's Of Issan and other stories have been previously published in Gwangju News S. Korea and XPAT magazine in Taiwan.
