The Revolution is in Good Hands
John Daysh, December 11, 2008
A fire display leaps into action with a flaming brandy pyramid and lines of alcohol fueled fire racing each other around the bar with eyebrow threatening ferocity. You stay out of the way, note the nearest exit but keep on drinking and dancing with those who are partying their way into a new revolutionary paradigm. Tomorrow morning you’ll wake up with a killer hangover, sore hips and half a dozen new numbers in your phone.

It Will Be a Boy
Gates of Paradox, June 13, 2008
I hear a muffled sound; the source is uncertain. I try to listen. I turn over. Someone is speaking in the other room. It sounds like a familiar voice… It is the small piping voice of a child. The voice is answered by a gleeful prattle. I prick up my ears more. I recognize my daughter’s elocution with her unique pitch and tone.
This can’t be.

Delightful SE Asia - Surfers' Tales
Hans Meier, August 11, 2007
After breakfast, I check my e-mail account in the internet shop opposite Charoen Thani hotel. Funny, I can't sign out. When I click "sign out", the page with my new e-mails comes back. Even after restarting the PC, the PC brings back my fresh inbox – no password needed. Other computers in this shop proudly present my inbox, too. If I leave now, anybody can see my e-mails. I talk to service. They tell me it has to to do with their proxy server. They assure me they will solve the problem – tonight.
