I just despair of adjusting myself to the world. I more and more believe I will accept death happily. To wit: why oh why can not the website administrator post poetry with some respect for the form? <br />

The first group of lines should appear as a unit. Any other printing is basically useless for text effect. This is not a lack of proofing--it is a lack of caring. Writing is not words only, it is presentation. This is a problem with every IT professional I have ever come in contact with and I have come in contact with hundreds of them. Zero interest in text, comprehension, meaning, or presentation. When I worked at a college I was sometimes used for editing and proofreading of college correspondence and documents before they 'hit the mail'. Many of the problems that had to be corrected were initiated by IT professionals and they were never interested in being corrected or in learning. In fact, their own behavior displayed contempt for text and reading.
