Valentine's Day.
ChuckWoww, March 8, 2008
You had sex and perhaps love again but Duan was distracted. You both were. Especially when her expensive new cell phone started beeping. You had noticed it earlier. A gift from a friend she said. She held it to her ear. Said nothing.

Another Eight Little Stories
Dana, March 6, 2008
I am in the entrance of the Nana Entertainment Plaza in Bangkok and I see a small perfect woman in front of the Buddha. She is offering fruit, and she is offering flowers, and she is lighting incense sticks, and she is having a private Buddha moment with her hands together. I fall in love. I follow her up the stairs to the second floor. I'd have followed her over a cliff. I'd have crawled over glass with my ass on fire to get to her. I am naming our kids. She goes into the Cathouse bar.

Twelve Little Stories
Dana, February 21, 2008
Out steps an Essan stunner in a high waist floor length dress with push up bra and her breasts spilling out the top. Brown skin, high cheek bones, and long black hair. And, oh God: I can hardly breath. Did I say it? Her breasts were heaving and pushing to be free. Spilling out the top.

Remembering V
Victor, February 10, 2008
The ring of the alarm clock in an unfamiliar darkness jerks me off the sleep and the warmth of the blanket. In a slumbering haze I see the faint outline of my wife getting up to start her daily chores and hear the deep breath of my son still sleeping peacefully hugging his Spiderman pillow.

Lest You Be Judged
Dana, January 17, 2008
It's hard not to be judgmental. We all do it. Sifting incoming data and making decisions about priority, or friend vs. foe, or pain vs. pleasure is part of what makes us successful as a species.

Sexpats - what's that all about?
sisterray, December 25, 2007
Having had a pop at Backpackers, in a previous article, it seems only fair that I should extend my objective anthropological research towards the other end of the spectrum of immigrants / holiday makers who find themselves stepping foot as a guest within the wonderful kingdom of Thailand.

The Reluctant Tour Guide - Part 3
Julian, November 20, 2007
The next morning saw them all depart while I went down to the Carrefour supermarket in a tuktuk to get some bread to take back to Chiang Rai. I had decided not to go with the others, I’d seen elephants work and perform before and didn’t doubt they enjoyed it as much as the audience.
