How to Bar Fine
Ticojay, February 1, 2010
Our suggestions for a book with this title received international acclaim. Several readers on the WWW requested their friends in Bangkok buy extra copies to send them. Nobody has a better focus on what matters most than guys sitting in topless go-go bars. We’ve tried to write a bar fining guide for idiots. But succeeding with bar fines is more difficult than most imagine and our continued screw-ups with them mean we really don’t know how to bar fine, yet. So our efforts on this project remain a work in progress but our book outline is a classic.

English Only
Ticojay, January 25, 2010
This Village Daily Special Report was banned in Malaysia at the International Conference of English Teachers with Strange Accents. The Annual Thai English Teachers Par Three Putt Putt Rodeo in Chiang Mai banned it for two years in a row. The Bangkok Post sent us back the burnt ashes of their complimentary copy. These reactions tell us it remains an insightful look at the business of teaching English in Asia.

Whiskey Galore
SiLeakHunt, July 14, 2009
Fifteen, twenty years ago a mate of mine had had a bag full of Britain. The details are tedious but if we were reading his autobiography we'll pick things up at the point where he was on a jumbo jet heading for Bangkok, flush with his last three months wages and the little equity he'd managed to pull out of his terraced house in Stockport.

I married a Thai girl -- oh boy!
Manley Powers, April 19, 2008
Yeah, I dated western women for a long time. What a bore! Fat pigs with their own agendas that only included me if I went along with what they wanted. Gimme, gimme, gimme.

McTavish of the Glen - Chapter 11 - Broken Heart
zob65, March 13, 2008
A broken body cast on the rubbish tip of broken hearts, Hell hath no fury like a McTavish scorned. Thinking he had been rejected by Pie, Laph was now on a suicide mission of booze and birds.

McTavish of the Glen - Chapter 10 - In Love
zob65, March 7, 2008
Laph had managed to get up on time during the week. He put his head down and worked furiously through some of Don's outstanding tasks. Don was pleased with his work, Laph even refusing lunch with Steve. It wasn't because Laph was dedicated but it was because he needed to be on time to get through the door of Renoir at 5pm, start of the happy hour and better still the start of Pie's shift.
